The Winston-Salem Police Department and the Winston-Salem Human Relations Department hosted a Trust Talks Forum between representatives of the Winston-Salem Police Department and citizens at the Little Creek Community Center on May 19, 2016. The trust talk allowed citizens and police to discuss such issues as community safety, stereotypes, perceptions, trust, and other areas of concern. The Winston-Salem Police Department has been participating in trust talks since 2011 as a way to foster communication between law enforcement and the community.
