Several events have taken place in Forsyth County this week to remember those officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Today is National Peace Officers Memorial Day. Although this year, in person gatherings had to be cancelled due to COVID-19, it does not minimize the importance of remembering and honoring WSPD and all officers across the country who have sacrificed their lives to keep the public safe.
